My Story

Daydreaming became my escape—a refuge from the pressures of reality. I could be anything, go anywhere, and live countless lives in just a moment’s thought. But as I grew older, I realized that my daydreaming was more than a harmless pastime; it was a coping mechanism that often left me feeling isolated and disconnected from the real world.

Maladaptive daydreaming is a term coined by Professor Eliezer Somer, describing a condition where excessive daydreaming can disrupt daily functioning. It can lead to feelings of guilt, anxiety, and loneliness. Many who daydream excessively feel misunderstood, as this behavior is often dismissed as mere escapism. Here at HeDreamsAllDay, we aim to validate these experiences and provide a supportive community for those who resonate with this struggle.
